Data Centre Overview:
Our infrastructure is located in a world-class Data Centre facility in London’s Docklands. Completed in November 1999, this data centre meets the high security and protection demands of any Internet presence. The Data Centre has redundant systems for connectivity, electrical power, air conditioning and fire suppression to ensure that your Internet presence is always available. The Data Centre is monitored 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and 365 days per year. All staff are committed and trained to provide you with continual, high-level network monitoring and load management of your connection. In addition, we have engineering support for outage response and network performance analysis.

Power & Air Conditioning:
Right from the start, the power supplies were designed with several criteria in mind: very high capacity, stability, reliability and scope for easy expansion. The facility has a 2-Megawatt power supply, that’s enough power to light up London’s Wembley Stadium ten times over. Backing that up are dedicated Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems plus two further diverse mains supplies (scaleable for future growth) with circuit breaker protection, and an on-site generator in the unlikely event of long-term power outages.

Fire & Security:
Security is obviously an essential consideration for our customers housing their precious data externally. We have a high-security system that includes 24 x 7 monitoring by on-site personnel, video camera surveillance and a security breach alarm. Access to the Internet data centre is by card key, and each instance of opening of restricted areas is logged by time and date.

Network:
Our network provides customers with high speed, high quality Internet transit connectivity to European, North American and the “rest-of-the-world” (ROW) Internet domains with guarantees for performance parameters within the network. Our backbone service interconnects our customers with main Internet exchanges and other top-level international backbone providers. Connectivity is provided by “Level3” and “Genuity”. Customers connected to the backbone obtain any-to-any connectivity within a predefined routing policy, which provides comprehensive Internet reach and throughput.
